Hi, I'm Edinah — the founder of CYAN Healthcare.

I spent over 20 years as a Registered Mental Health Nurse, working across inpatient wards, community teams, home treatment services, and rehabilitation units. In that time, I sat with families at some of the hardest moments of their lives — supporting people through crisis, recovery, and everything in between. I learned what good care actually looks like: not just getting tasks done, but genuinely understanding a person, their history, and what dignity means to them.

Over more than a decade in senior clinical management, I led teams, drove service improvements, and never stopped caring about the small things that make the biggest difference to someone's quality of life.

When I started looking into home care for people I knew, I noticed a gap. So many domiciliary care providers focus on the practical side of care and that matters, but few bring real clinical depth to understanding dementia behaviours, mental health histories, or the complexity that comes with supporting someone through illness, ageing, or recovery.

That's why I founded CYAN Healthcare.

CYAN is built on everything I learned in my nursing career: that care should never be generic, that dignity is non-negotiable, and that families deserve a provider who truly understands what their loved one is going through — clinically and emotionally
